Plastic – A Silent Devil…

Plastic
Hello, friends! Hope you people are enjoying your work with healthy span.

Do you ever have notice how much plastic do we use in whole day??? Let’s check out. First in morning, we wake up and check out wall clock for time. (A plastic material in clock? May be.) Then we go to brush. Again plastic for brush, toothpaste pouch. Then drink a glass of water for from filter (plastic material again). Then we take bath (again plastic bucket and all) Then we have our breakfast. Food like milk (packed in plastic when come home), bread (again plastic pack) etc. are normal breakfast item.  Then pack tiffin for work place. Oh! Again plastic containers.

Lots of plastic around us! And 87% of them is not recyclable. Means lots of unsolved garbage!

Do you have idea about chemicals get used in plastic??? Plastic variety may include Polyvinylchloride, Phthalates, Polycarbonate, Acrylic, etc. Have you ever heard about these chemicals and its adverse effect?
Let see few effects:

  • Obesity

I have seen many people who follow diet very strictly, go gym regularly, do yoga but still obesity issue doesn’t get solve. The main reason is their habit to have water through plastic bottles. Now a day people prefer to drink through bottles instead of glass. Remember one thing, plastic is always harmful even though it’s of very high quality (like many company advertise that use our plastic bottles)

  • Digestion problem

Yes plastic has chemical like polycarbonate which causes digestion issue.

  •    Skin problems
  •    Learning problems
  •   Weaker eye sight
  •   Diabetes
  •   Decreased sperm count
  •   Early puberty in girls
  •   Fertility problems
  •   Cancer

You may think these are just research theories. May be your thoughts are correct but theories come from observation of live scenario. There is no issue of taking thoughtful steps to avoid harm.
Now you will say then how to avoid plastic at all. I know it’s difficult to avoid totally but few things you can skip and use alternative, specially when it comes to food and drinks.

  • Use Glass, Metal and Clay bottles as water container
  • Use metal for heating food.
  • Do not give young children plastic teether or toys.
  • Use natural fiber clothing
  • Don’t use plastic bag. Please use cloth or paper bag as they are recycled.
People think plastic alternative is expensive. You are absolutely correct. Paper bag are expensive as well as glass crockery is expensive then melamine dishes. But dear don’t you think that cancer and diabetes are more expensive???

Be wise. God has given us beautiful life. Enjoy it. Don’t harm future for few bugs. Cause one mistake may happen in few seconds or minutes but it may take decades to recover from the effects.
Have a good day!
Please give your query and suggestion.

Igatpuri - Vihigaon - Ashoka Waterfall

Weekend near Mumbai Hello friends I had very wonderful weekends with my friends. We went to Wild Camp which is near Khodala village in Thane District, Maharashtra . It was normal and clean place. Even the path till there was green and cool. We enjoyed beauty of Kasara Ghat through out the way. But what make my weekend awesome was Ashoka Waterfall . On the way to Khodala (Wild Camp), from NH3 we took left (as we were coming from Mumbai). After few mintues span, on our left hand we got one mile stone as Ashoka Dhabadhaba .   On left there was one small raw path. We decided to go to check out that waterfall as we were early for our destination. On left path ahead, we got small village called Vihigaon . It is really very small village. There is one small school which had lots of empty space. We parked our vehicle near by the school and went near the sound of waterfall. There were few people going for Water Rappling. Instead of going behind them, we too...

Travel India - Women Clothing

India has great variety in terms of climate, culture and ethnicity. This variety has big impact on clothing, especially on woman clothing. Most of Non-Indian people consider sari as woman general clothing but it’s not correct. We have variety of clothing. Even we have huge variety in draping a sari. Now a day, jeans and and other western clothing has become most popular in India among girls but still when you travel India please take few precaution. Even though India has variety of culture, most of them are conservative and believe in covering body very well. When you visit India try to dress in very much simple way. India has humid and hot weather. So many travelers prefer cloths which are short in length and without sleeves. So that they don’t feel much heat and body doesn’t get exhaust. I will not recommend such clothing. While traveling in India, according to climate and culture, wear cloths which cover most of your body part like pants till ankle and avoid sl...

Happy Samvatsari

Today is Samvatsari i.e. the last day of Paryushana —the eight day festival of Jainism.   Today a Jain person celebrates Kshamavani or "Forgiveness Day". It is a day of forgiving and seeking forgiveness for the followers of Jainism."Micchami Dukkadam" is the common phrase when asking for forgiveness. It means that May all the evil that has been done be fruitless. "Khamemi Savve Jiva, Savve Jiva Ve Khamantu Me,   Mitti me Savva Bhooesu, Veram Majjham Na Kenavi,   Ev Ma Ye Aaloyam, Nidiyam Giriyam, Dugamcchiyam,   Savv Jive He Nam Padikanto, vandami Jeev Chowisam" Lord Mahavira said we should forgive our own soul first. Anger begets more anger and forgiveness and love beget more forgiveness and love. Forgiveness benefits both the forgiver and the forgiven. To make peace in life and world, it is necessary to forgive people and have harmony with them. It will give positive effect on your “Krunanu-Bandh”.
